How to Integrate Your Shopify Store with Adsngin: A Step-by-Step Guide

Welcome to Adsngin! If you have a Premium plan, you can integrate your Shopify store with Adsngin to streamline product management across both platforms. Follow this guide to set up Shopify integration quickly and easily.

Why Integrate Shopify with Adsngin?

By integrating your Shopify store with Adsngin, you can automatically sync your product listings. Every time you create, update, or delete a product on Shopify, it will reflect on your Adsngin listings, saving you time and effort.

What You Need for the Integration

  1. Shopify Store URL

  2. Shopify Webhook URL (provided by Adsngin)

  3. Webhook Secret (from your Shopify dashboard)

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Log in to Your Shopify Account

  1. Go to https://shopify.com/login and log in to your Shopify store.

  2. Once logged in, navigate to your store’s settings.

Step 2: Go to Shopify Notifications Settings

  1. Click on Settings at the bottom-left corner of your Shopify dashboard.

  2. In the Settings menu, select Notifications.

    Replace [your-store-id] with your actual shopify store id.

Step 3: Set Up Webhooks

Webhooks are needed for your store to communicate with Adsngin whenever a product is created, updated, or deleted. Here's how to set them up:

  1. Scroll down to the Webhooks section in Shopify's Notifications settings.

  2. Click on Create Webhook.

You will need to create three webhooks: one for product creation, one for product updates, and one for product deletions.

Webhook for Product Creation

  1. Set the Event to "Product creation."

  2. In the URL field, enter the following URL:

    
https://adsngin.co.nz/api/shopify/webhook/[your-adsngin-token]/product/create

    Replace [your-adsngin-token] with your actual Adsngin user token.

  3. For Webhook format, select JSON.

  4. Click Save.

Webhook for Product Update

  1. Set the Event to "Product update."

  2. In the URL field, enter the following:

    
https://adsngin.co.nz/api/shopify/webhook/[your-adsngin-token]/product/update

  3. Set the format to JSON.

  4. Click Save.

Webhook for Product Deletion

  1. Set the Event to "Product deletion."

  2. In the URL field, enter:

    
https://adsngin.co.nz/api/shopify/webhook/[your-adsngin-token]/product/delete

  3. Set the format to JSON.

  4. Click Save.

Step 4: Get Your Webhook Secret

  1. After creating each webhook, you'll be given a Webhook Secret in the Shopify dashboard.

  2. Copy this secret—you’ll need it to complete the integration on Adsngin.

Step 5: Complete the Integration on Adsngin

Now that the webhooks are set up in Shopify, you'll need to provide Shopify credentials on Adsngin to finalize the integration.

  1. Log in to your Adsngin account and go to Settings.

  2. Under Shopify Integration, you'll see fields for:

    • Shopify Store URL: Enter your Shopify store URL (e.g., https://your-shop.myshopify.com).

    • Select Country: Choose your Shopify primary country, e.g., New Zealand.

    • Webhook Secret: Paste the webhook secret you copied from Shopify.

  3. Save your changes.

You're All Set!

Your Shopify store is now successfully integrated with Adsngin! From now on, any products you create, update, or delete in Shopify will automatically sync with your Adsngin account.
